Born and brought up in Delhi, India; Kamya Mehra, founder at Kiara is an engineer by degree, but a designer by all her heart and soul. She had started planning her clothing label when she was in college itself. Inspired by women around her, she understood the root problem, which is women not being able to find the right clothing that suits their personal style. She wanted to create designs that caters to every mood, style and body type. She wanted to provide designs that every girl out there loves and want to wear everyday making every occasion special. After great research on the fabric quality, the prints, choosing the right fabric for right seasons, silhouettes, the right team, she started Kiara in September 2021 and aims to reach out to more and more women every year.
